Reading the above and after some digging I have changed tact. I have built a fresh Domino server (8.5.3) and installed Traveler (8.5.3.1).

My new Domino server doesn't have any mail files on it. I can now hit my http://servername/servlet/traveler page and I can login and download the app which installs. I can trace to the other Domino servers where mail resides.

The new problem is that the iPhone complains that it can't verify the account. When I retry it just does the same thing. I can hit skip, it continues then when you open the mail box the iPhone complains about "Cannot Get Mail - The connection to the server failed". ports 80 and 8642 are open and pointing with a NAT rule at me new Domino server. The A-Record is still propagating so I'm using the external IP at the moment to test. I intend to use SSL once it working with HTTP. Any one have any ideas where I should go from here?
